/files/High School Images/Trey Thames1.JPGTrey Thames holds a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Master of Divinity from Hardin-Simmons University's Logsdon School of Theology.  He received his undergrad degree in Theology/Religious Education from Howard Payne University.  He has spent the last 22 years working with students as Student Pastor, and most recently, Educator. 

Trey is beginning his 5th year at The Woodlands Christian Academy and teaches Biblical Studies (Old and New Testament Survey Courses, Apologetics), Latin, and Archaeology.

Trey resides with his wife, Stephanie, to whom he has been married 17 years, and their 6th grade daughter, Madisynn Grace in Tomball, TX.  He and his family are a part of a faith community at Houston Northwest Church in Houston, where his wife serves as Children’s Minister.  He teaches a Young Married/Couples Bible study and speaks at other events, student camps and retreats, college worship services, et al.

Most recently, Trey was privileged to be a part of the Tel Gezer Project excavating at Tel Gezer, Israel.  He worked as a volunteer for five weeks during the summer of 2008 learning archaeological methodology and techniques.  Trey used his experience to create a 2500 sq. foot simulated dig site at The Woodlands Christian Academy called Tel Ya'ar.  The archaeology program received an ACSI Exemplary School Program Award in 2009 for its unique contribution to the academic curriculum at TWCA.
