Philipians 4:13
Welcome!
I am so blessed to be a member of The Woodlands Christian Academy faculty this year. As a teacher of 18 years I have participated on many campuses and teamed with many faculties. The faculty, staff, and administration here at TWCA have welcomed me with open arms and been extremely supportive. Christ is truly Lord here, as manifested by the caring spirit that is continually outpoured upon all around here.
My favorite Bible verse is Philipians 4:13. This banner has hung in my class ever since I left the public school system and was finally able to share my faith with parents and students, alike. I have taught in private, Christian schools for over 16 years now. I also had the honor as serving as the Head of the Lower School at an inner-city K-12 school, much like TWCA! My teaching journey finally led me here, and it definitely feels like home!
I am very proud of my marriage of 25 years to my wonderful husband, Wayland, who also teaches at TWCA. We have two awesome children, but we are officially empty-nesters now. Andrew, 20, is a Junior at Trinity University in San Antonio. He plays the bagpipes and was a twice a member of the World Champion Juvenile Bagpipe Band in Edinburgh, Scotland. He continues to pipe today. Abby, 18, is a Freshman at Northern Arizona in Flagstaff. What a beautiful place! Abby is active in Young Life at NAU! She would welcome any TWCA Warriors that might be interested in attending NAU to contact her. She is definitely an ambassador for her school.

My husband and I are absolutely crazy about our two Boston Terriers, Hamish (Hey-mish) and Jackie Blue. Hamish is the old man of the two-some and takes care to stay out of the way of younger sis, Jackie.
Jackie Blue has one brown eye and one blue eye, thus the name! She can play soccer, retrieve just about anything she can grab with those little teeth, and jumps like crazy! Her favorite pastime...pestering Hamish!Newsletters:
